Namaste,
I am back with a new topic, It's about
ELECTRONICS
, which is my favourite field of science.
We all can see that electronics play a crucial role in the modern world, they are everywhere from consumer products to medical devices and defence systems. Because of its importance and dependency, we all can say that national growth relies on this industry.
But if we think about it, India being the 6th largest economy, we are not a big player in the electronics field as compared to other nations, our imports are very much more than our exports. The brains which are powering our devices are all foreign-made, if this goes on for long, both our economy and national security will also be impacted, which we can't afford with China and Pakistan on our borders trying to destroy us.
The United States of America and China are the biggest monopolies in the electronics industry, if we want to be a superpower in future, we need to address this area too. Most of the critical electronics components like integrated circuits (IC), we use in all types of devices are foreign-made. This highlights the clear case of dependency upon foreign countries.
But recently, I came across some news articles about the central government trying to encourage the electronics industry to manufacture here, by giving massive incentives, reducing taxes. This made me happy because the government is already recognising the role of electronics and trying to grow this industry in India as part of making India self-reliant.
As we all know, we are already big in software and information technology which are all interconnected to electronics. if we become self-reliant in electronics, that will pave a great path of becoming a superpower.
I am already seeing the growth of the electronics industry in India since the pandemic and chip shortages. And I hope that this move by the government will definitely bring some more self-reliance to India in electronics. And This will definitely increase employment indirectly and directly.
And finally, I see some great developments in Electronics Industry in India, New multinational companies are trying to get into India, New startups are starting, We are already experiencing digital India and the rate of employment in electronics and information technology is growing day by day. With these metrics in mind, I can surely say that the future of electronics in India is rock-solid and booming.
This is my view on
The Future Of Electronics In India
